This weekend was the Minnesota firearms deer hunting opener. While it's been a success for many hunters, there have already been several accidents resulting in injuries. Two hunters were shot, one near Perley and the other near Moorhead.

Deputies arrived to find a man who appeared to have a gunshot wound to the head, according to a Clay County sheriff’s office news release. Clay County deputies and a responding Minnesota state trooper immediately began administering first aid to the male hunter.
